BBFO’s 70th birthday party on the island

This is our 70th birthday year, and we are planning to hold a celebration on the island, as we did for the 50th birthday. The events will take place on the weekend of 19th-20th August 2023. This will include a BBQ on Saturday evening and lunch on Sunday.

Colin Evans has very kindly agreed to put on extra boat trips so that BBFO members can come for a day trip on Sunday 20th. It will also be possible for a limited number of people to come late on Saturday afternoon and stay over until Sunday. Accommodation will be “dormitory style” and fairly basic!

If you would like to come and join us, please email chair@bbfo.org.uk, stating your preference for travel to the island on Saturday or Sunday. Everyone will return to the mainland on the Sunday afternoon. As places are limited, it will be a case of first come, first served and, as always, weather permitting
