Staying at the Lodge on Bardsey Island is a fantastic way to experience this magical island and you do not need to be a birdwatcher to stay - all are welcome.
The hostel-style accommodation offered at the Lodge is comfortable but basic. Being an island there is a very limited water supply. The washroom and toilet facilities are shared. That said, there is central heating, electric light and hot and cold running water.
Bardsey is located off the tip of the Llŷn peninsula, North Wales. Access to the island is by boat. If you are staying at the Observatory, you will travel with Colin Evans. More information on travelling to Bardsey with Colin can be found
here.
